Marliyn Monroe, Elvis Presely and many other celebrities were effected by silly critics who offered quantities of drugs, who told them they were a little bit nuts and needed psychiatric care, by people who scream sour grapes because they don't make the same effort the celebrities have made. 47. This guy is a phoney. His dramatic abilities are best summed up from roles in Kotter and Looks Who's Talking. Baby and street babbling. He should be kissing Tarentinos ass for him giving a whole new look and feel to Travolta in Pulp Fiction.

Phoney in turning his back on the Religion his Mother brought him up in, and than running to a Cult after she passed. Phoney in becoming a jet pilot so he could personally commandier himself and only a privledged few in large commercial airliners he purchased.

Phoney in getting credit for charity, when he gave a mere 10,000 dollars worth of supplies to Katrina. That would be like you or I giving 50 cents on a net worth basis.

Phoney in parading around as an all around regular guy when in fact he is not. He's the type of man who became gay because women fawned over him at an early age and he needed something beyond. So be regular as in being honest, in coming out with your gayness.

Phoney, but I guess America buys it. And Eurpoe looks at him as France does Jerry Lewis, a superstar and god. Shows you what they know.

48. Here's what i dont understand: People say tom Cruise and John travolta are gay because they are scientologists and scientology believes homosexuality is a sin. People believe they became scientologists, to get help with hiding their homosexuality. But NO religion accepts homosexuality. Christianity is completely against it, as is most religions.

So my question is, why are only scientologists accused of covering it up?

for the record, I don't believe Travolta and cruise are gay. My gayday doesn't go there.

49. That's right, they hosted a fundraiser in Hawaii. It was for the opening of a rehab center. Bad thing right? Concerning the childish "racist" comments of someone being gay, whether he is or not is none of your damn business!. Nor is the "big" plane he flies which is his right to do so. If they are guilty of "child abuse" because of some garbage about denying their Son help, like some morons claim, why haven't they been charged with it? You don't buy your way out of that. You don't have to agree with Scientology. Again, who are you to criticize? It's there right to practice what religion they believe, same right you have by the way. It's the baseless "gay comments" and "your religion sucks" comments that show the real people who need that rehab center! You are the reason these rehab centers are built! You must be in extreme denial. JT won't be the 1st guy whose gay that marries for " IMAGE " sake. Rock Hudson married his secretary when the rumors got too hot to handle. There was nothing hetro-sexual about him either. Hell even LIberace denied he was gay and got a temparary girlfriend/ beard to cover up his true preference for men. He wasn't fooling anyone.......even back than.

As far as being jealous of his looks , ( what looks ? they faded along with his receeding hair line and his inability to keep in shape ) I don't even find him romotely good looking. As far as admitting you're gay or telling others that someone else is gay......That's not racist. WTF......you don't even make any sense.

The whole point here is........he is not fooling anyone, EXCEPT YOU. And as far as it being nobody's business HE IS MAKING IT OUR BUSINESS by putting it out there. Hell , he won't even help his son Jett with his autisum because his " so called religion " doesn't believe in it. Get a reality check here. There's plenty of reason for people to voice their concern over that CULT. Only uneducated, misinformed and misguided people would EVER defend that organization.

Do yourself a favor and do a little research on it. I don't think you will be back on this board defending JT or scientology. Message therapist's at 5 star hotel's know all about JT's preference for men. It's not a very well kept secret. You might be the only one left who believes this " make-believe " story he feeds to the media and the public.

53. Ok. I think we all get it. Two of Hollywood's leading men are scientologists because that's the religion that allows them to be gay while being married. "TC" is the other one. Anyone remember Rikki Martin? None of his female fans thoght he was gay either....suprise!!!! They (JT & TC) use marriage as a coverup to keep the scripts coming their way, otherwise they would have been put up on the shelf long ago.

58. up to ow ihave never formed an opinion of travolta's person.i've seen some of his movies in the past without them affecting my opinion of him other than his acting ability, which i thought was good. i recently saw travolta in HAIRSPRAY and i 4enjoyed it emensely. since then i have heard and read a geat deal of garbage in magazines and here about travolta's inclination. I CHOOSE TO IGNORE IT, I THINK HE DID A GREAT JOB IN HAIRSPRAY. AN ACADAMY AWARD PERFORMANCE.

60. It appears as though the majority of you bloggers should give up criticizing anyone and everyone. You really need to go back to school and learn grammar and spelling. Most of the entries are atrocious. Maybe you should go see Mr. Kotter and you could be as successful as John Travolta, although I doubt it.
